Club access to Tynemouth pier this weekend.

After seeing an earlier post on the subject this week, I have just popped down to see about vehicular access/parking with the Mouth of the Tyne Festival and a sailing regatta all coming together this weekend.
I spoke to an event organiser who told me that vehicular access is allowed down the bank and parking in the car park overlooking the Haven. The car park near the pier attendants hut is closed.

Ooh, I might venture on the pier myself tomorrow. That Harper kid needs to be put in his place by the big guns.
