I have snapped about 10 inches off the top section on my Century SS Kompressor super sport, so what i need to know is how much will it cost to replace it, or could i repair it by just having a new tip ring fitted.
Thanks in advance.

I suspect it was damaged when fishing in Scotland not sure, I was cleaning it it snapped when i flexed the tip end while drying it with a cloth.

Shame coz that seemed like a canny rod
Cheers David, I might get a tip ring put on if possible, and see what it preforms like.
I think it will be a lot stiffer but if it works I will use it as a spare.

century would replace it but they charge half of what the rod costs new but i would give them a ring there in washington they may be able to sort something out.
