Hi all, I will be heading up to Craster at the beginning of February with Her indoors and the Dog for a weeks break. Will definitely be taking some gear with me and, if the weather/seas allow, will try a few sessions from the rocks and or harbour. My question is : What baits can you recommend and where are the local stockists?

Amble Angling Centre, give Norma a ring 01665 711200 for bait and advice, would also keep eye on catch reports on here and sure somebody will give you some advice, loads of places for the dog
big cocktails work a treat yellowtails, crab, mussel, razor, cart they all work as long as you've got plenty on a lot of lads having success with fish baits like bluey.

You can fish just about anywhere although some marks are more productive than others. Big baits of yellows crab razor and definatley bluey if you're not catching juts keep moving around
