  • Greys Orion ,any good lads.

    Any of you lads got an Orion ,I\'ve got an Apollo for the rocks but thinking about an Orion for mixed ground ...what you reckon ,I need advice please ,I\'m using a Diawa Sensor for softer stuff at the moment which is too soft and short at 12 ft.
    You can take the lad out of Walker but .......

      Sure that\'s what my mate uses Steve. He is not too keen. Just about to replace it. Will check though.

              Got to be worth ten bob mate. Seriously though you could shell out £40:00 or so and not like it. Whats the point. Keep the money towards something better mate.

                  got one myself, had a lot worse, had better as well though

                      thats just reminded me of something I saw on the net last year, off to look for it again now. In america (only in america!) where they have midget throwing competitions, there\'s a variation called midget hurling. put midget on end of large stick (greys orion) and cast midget as far as poss!

                        Our Ian\'s got one......canny rod and can get a bait out a good distance. Got to remember its limitations, though.....It\'s ideal for clean beaches and river marks......wouldn\'t fancy using it on rough or kelpy areas, though.

                          Some great advice as normal ,cheers lads ,just wondered are there any dwarves out there willing to let me \"cast\" them ? Reckon my Greys Apollo could wallop a midget a canny way.
