Two words mate, Longbeach. Tried one and liked it so much that Terry has a cheque of mine for 275 notes.
I reckon Zippys are overpriced for what they are, just my opinion though, someone will tell me otherwise.
You could also consider Reelsport\'s new rod, the Blue Thunder, I think Big Sean or someone on this board has one.
Conoflex Nemesis Plus, me mate has one and they\'re pretty good.

Last night i took a longbeach and the kompressor down the river to test them both out together and yes i agree the longbeach is a very nice rod,so easy to cast with and has a nice light feeling but at the same time still having that power to battle cod out the kelp.I was torn between the two scratching my head, there was wood all over.I went for the kompressor because it had that little bit more power and i was after the rod for rock and kelp work.Might get a long beach in the summer.

Have been off the site for a couple of weeks due to technical failure - it buggered up and had to wait for a technical wizz to sort it out in about two minutes but........

Conoflex Nemisis Plus. Excellent off the rocks but still sensitive in the river or off the beach. Have an Apollo which is great for heavy stuff but no sensitivety for more all round work. The new Nemesis Plus looks and feels good although I\'ve never had a bash but may be on my wish list in the New Year. :P
