If you know where the calidonian pub and wardles pub in Hebburn there's a junction between the two, turn in past the chruch and down the bank as the name suggests, i believe the main road at the top of the bank is lyon street.

deffo worth a cast if you like flattys fresh crab is the bait you need there is some nice size flats

follow road around bend ,
turn right ,
follow road past the new tunnel ,
should come to mini roundabout,
turn right.
follow road for 2 n half miles passing viking parkon right,follow bends in road ,come to mini roundabout,
go stright on,
past woodyard and ship building yard on right ,
mini roundabout go streight on,
look for church spire on right and turn right onto ellison street ,this is whats known as church bank,
follow road down to the bottom of the bank and park next to cut between the 2 fences is,this is where you fish.
walk along obout 50 feet away from the wall,its snaggy there.
casts only need to be about 30 yards when the water is over the mud.
rag,crab best baits tipped with maccy.
