Probably because loads of good fish have been coming off Roker especially the harbour side

There was a match from 13;00 until 18;00 between 17 members of the Fire Brigades Sea League, plenty of double figure bags of flounders and whiting I don,t know who actually won as I left early as did,nt feel too well.

Full report for regpude.cod 8-2 lb.cod 6lb.cod 5-10lb.couple of 4lb and a few 2-3lb.probs have been more up n down pier and after i left.fish came from bay side and sea side of pier only one good fish from end.got there 11-30.had 2 steak pies about1-30 and left at 5-30 just before rain came.

We were going to fish on Hendon prom but we did,nt think there would be enough space to peg it as our matches are all pegged and we fish catch and release!
