There's no doubt peeler crab, brown green or velvet is the top bait in summer, it'll always be my first choice but it's not easy to get your hands on brown peelers, so was wondering if anyone had tried cart in summer as an alternative and if so was it any good?
I've only recently started using it in winter with mixed results and haven't got round to trying it yet in summer on the weed marks.....

Never tried it but even in winter, frozen crab can work so why not give it a try mate. The fish might prefer fresh crab but i doubt a hungry cod would turn its nose up. Keep us informed!"In order to becomes old and wise, first you must be young and stupid."
