  • Anyone catch at Whitley last night?

Finally dragged my arse out after a winter of thinly veiled excuses and got to panama ledges an hour before low. Second cast struck into something big. Was having to pump rod (canny bend in it), got it half way and the fish found a ledge to hide behind. Tried bullying it, hiving it slack, walking in either direction but just could not shift it. In he end had to pull horizontally and hope for the best when of course I then lost the lot. Did until 2120 then got hungry so went home. Didn't see anyone pull owt in so was just wondering if I left too soon.

I swear I'll get that pig on Monday!!

Serves me right for going too light I suppose. But if anyone catches a pig with a 5oz Gemini and a badly made pulley rig in its gob please tell me the weight just to satisfy my morbid curiosity..

Haha mint. I've got a mate who does that. That's why I normally just go by myself
