Parking at the side and in the housing estate can result in car being vandalised. It has happened a few times in the past. You can park in the hotel but keep to the back, they do threaten to clamp. There is a car park on the front costs a pound a day at the moment, but closes about 10:30, small walk to walkway.

Mate when you get onto the walkway, try and get right to the top at the most westerly spot against the fence if theres no one there. Thats the shot between there and the lamp post. Don't tell anyone its a secret.

I think its canny anywhere along the railings. Had fish most places. I try to avoid parking my car in the estate out of respect for the houseowners.

I find the whole place hit and missy for loosing gear. One week nowt, next week 4-5 leads fishing the same spot lol. I think the whole area fishes (as mick said). I tend to move about a bit to try and get as much shelter off the houses from any wind. Lovely accessible mark though.

Just remember to put your rubbish in the bins provided! sometimes the place looks like the local tip after 'anglers' have been fishing there.
