Hi, Wheres the best place to get new eyes fitted to rod? Got a shakespear Neptune beachcaster lying around for ages nearly every eye damaged and need replacing. Took it to rutherfords a while ago but he said he would have to send it away to be fitted. Which shop would fit then on site? Thanks

PM PrimoMan on here, he lives in Horden and does rod rebuilds and has a very good reputation.
You could also try MickE, he does some quality rod building work though I don't know if he's taking them on professinally yet.CLIP IT AND WHACK IT -

I dont think there is a shop in sunderland that will repair a full rod in the shop due to the time it takes to build the rod. I think reelsport in south sheilds builds them in the shop.Rod building.................Comment

Just needs most of the eyes replacing on the tip section, Might try that place in shields during week, cheersComment
