without the use of a fridge in the garage how long would you be able to keep live peeler alive for.bearing in mind a bit hot weather is due these crab will not be river crab but shore crab.
any advice on keeping them and also to bring them on faster appreciated. thanks john

what shampoo has to do with crabs i dont know. if you dont want crabs coddy you should,nt collect as many then you get rid of them straight away wth shampoo ?.
anyway i have no fridge thats my prob .every year they knock themselves off first frosts so i normaly end up loosing loads of bait. whiteworm the last time.
if any one has a fridge they dont work and will work in cold conditions i will have.
pop bottles etc filled wth water not bad idea to keep crab kool. but is there not other ways to keep crabalive.
realy i just want a good supply of shore crab in my freezer for forthcoming winter.
i like to prepare my own crab to freeze and label them when put in freezer etc.
i have sent away for shore crab before frozen stuff but it always comes partialy defrosted no good to me.
