  • legal fish size tables

    Have looked on google and was wanting to find a legal fish size table to put in my box they used to sell measures with legal size limits on was wondering if anyone knows or is selling one of these measure or if there is a website that has it on

      Is this table up to date was just wondering I thought cod was 26cm ? :s but thanks for the table pal

          Table deffo right mate - Cod 26cm

          use the sizes in that link for all species and you'll not be in the wrong on any level

          note there are two fields - Legal and Recommended...

            Only two sets of sizes you need (though at present they are both the same):

            These are the minimum sizes for the Northumberland IFCA for north of the Tyne



            These are the minimum sizes for the North Eastern IFCA south of the Tyne



            These are the legal minimum sizes for fish in these areas. Any fish not on these lists has NO legal minimum size - it is up to you and your conscience for these species.

            As an aside the Northumberland list is out of date as it is now illegal to keep Common Eel.
