  • service centre for mitchell

    bought a brand new mitcell blue 7000 of e bay and its not working properly can anyone tell me if there is a uk service centre i can send it to cheers

    If it's brand new then shouldn't the seller replace / refund / repair it for you along with re-imbursing you any postage costs etc?

      I agree,check the sellers returns policy and contact the seller as soon as posible.
      If you dont have any luck contact Ebay to sort it out.

        been in touch with the seller and sed sold as seen it was brand new never used it has a life time warranty so if theres a uk service centre i will just send it there i give the seller a negitive feed back

          If it was sold as seen don't think you can give the seller a negitive.
          Go and have talk to your to your fishing tackle shop, they may be able to help you out or at least tell you where you can get a repair done take your guarantee with you.

            Check the item description, if the sellere said its in good working order, contact ebay as them item may not be as described

                  the retrive is sticking and then sometimes just jams it was brand new never bn used the seller e mailed me and sed it was never used unwanted gift ive loaded it with 12lb red ice i was float fishing with it and wen i tried to wind it in it was sticking than just jamed took it off and it is spinning ok but soon as i put soom weight on it it stiffens up and jams hope this helps cheers

                    am no expert, but 2 things come to mind (1) if reel has been dropped or bashed and side plate been pushed in, , (2) if its had a canny birds nest and line got between side plate and frame,, line snapped and piece got trapped on cogs, . ,if not those problems why not try id fishing byker ask for ronnie to have look at it he's good with reels he might be able to sort it out
