Couriers for posting fishing rods ?

Hi,
I'm having trouble finding a courier to post a fishing rod I have on e-bay. The tube is 170 cms long (about 5.5 feet), but no courier will seem to want to handle it, and it is too long for the Royal Mail.
Anyone recommend a suitable courier firm ??
