  • TSUNAMI CHARITY COMP: DETAILS

THIS IS FOR INFO ONLY: BUT......if you\'re takin\' part, can you please post your intention to do so, here.
This is for no other reason other than to get an idea of the response generated through NESA.

    DATE: Saturday 22.01.05

    TIME: 18:00 TO 22:00

    BOUNDARIES: Ice House to Newgiggin

MEET / WEIGH-IN: Whitley Bay Holiday Park (old caravan park)

    ENTRY FEES: £10.00

TICKETS AVAILABLE FROM: ALL N.E. tackle shops and will be on sale from Monday 10th Jan.

If anybody has ANYTHING they\'d like to donate to the prize table, then please contact Tim on 0790 6896752.

If you\'d prefer to donate cash rather than an \"item\", then Tim would prefer it if you made a donation DIRECT to the releif fund which has been established, and NOT send money to him (or me, for that matter).

This is REALLY a worthwhile comp.....probably the most meaningful we\'ll be involved with, so please try to take part if at all possible.
There\'s litterally THOUSANDS of pounds worth of gear making up the prizes.....and there should be a big turn out. Lets see if we can have a good response (ie turnout) from NESA.

If I get any further detailsfrom Tim, I\'ll post them here.

Tim apologises for not coming on the site himself......had a few computer problems, but they will be resolved shortly. He says that as soon as he\'s up & running again, he\'ll post on here.

    I\'ll be fishing it TC
If everyone from N.E.S.A & Andys site N.E.A fished the comp there would be quite a bit raised just from us lot off the 2 sites combined......

Veals, Glasgow Angling Centre and Mikes Tackle, are also set to donate items, but they have yet to confirm with Tim, just what their prize donations will be.

Now......some of the above prizes will be raffle prizes and others will be comp prizes (I don\'t know which, though).......anyhow......I\'m sure you\'ll agree that there\'s some brilliant gear up for grabs.

If you ONLY want to enter the raffle draw and NOT take part in the comp itself......NO PROBLEM......just get your raffle tickets from any of the N.E. tackle shops. You don\'t even have to be present on the day of the comp to be a winner......if your ticket is pulled out as a winning number, you\'ll be informed. Raffle tkts are only £1 each !!

ALL tickets (comp enrty AND raffle draw) will be available from ALL N.E. tackle shops from next Monday.....10th..........PLEASE DON\'T WAIT UNTIL THE LAST MINUTE TO GET YOURS......GET \'EM ASAP.

Tim.......if I\'ve missed anything off, or got something wrong......let me know and I\'ll put it right.

                Thought for the day:
Some people are like slinkies - not really good for anything but bring a smile to your face when thrown down the stairs

Converting an MFV Fifie trawler type thing.

I\'m just helping Tim get the comp promoted. I dare say that when the details gop up in the tackle shops, the rules may be included......other than that, I\'d suggest you contact Tim on the number given above.

no bother Tc- if they are i will scan them and put them up for the lads that are \"out of the area \" and paying on the night - pointless making a load of rigs up with beads / sequins etc if you cant use them - bait stops aye but not Zulu\"s necklaces ( which by the way IS THE best film EEEVVVVVEEEERRRR) in my veiw any anyway - but dont reply cos TC will kick my nads in as its about the comp, not film 2005.
