Fished high water Saturday - started off thinking i\'d try the small bay at the top end of S/Sluice, waves were seriously nasty and I couldn\'t get down onto the rock ledge, tried two casts anyway from the stairs - both ended up dragged into the edge within seconds and thick of weed
Opted for S/Sluice beach next to the big car park, spent an hour and a half there, couldn\'t hold the bottom at first but the tide eased off a little... Still nowt though, not even a single knock on the two rods I was fishing... only notable thing i managed to hook into (and land!) was a trashed lobster pot! Thanks to the waves they helped push it onto the shore as i winched the bugger in.
Up this morning and still had a load of worms left, headed down to the rocks behind the Kings Arms at sluice, couple of hours there but yet again in famous 5150 style i got bugger all... must have upset the fish god because every cast i threw out he wrapped around the kelp bed lol.
