i'm planning my trip to tenerief with a bit of shore fishing...

i rekon an eight or nine foot spinning rod, but should i go for a telescopic or a 4 piece?
i want to keep it cheap (£30 - £50) and light, any recomendations?

    also
what sort of lures do u think i should take?
what sort of fish should i target or expect to catch?
how do min sizes work there

Dunno how upto date it is, but I found this mate - list of shops and numbers: Fishing Tackle Shops in Tenerife - Business Pages Tenerife

be worth checking something out - I noticed on a couple of google searches some mention of needing a permit/license for sea angling there (mind the posts were quite old), one place mentioned getting them from local banks? Best check with a tackle shop i guess.

                Hi Mate.

I fished turkey last year and had a great two week fishing.got a telescopic rod from rutherfords for under a tenner.

best bait was raw chicken fishing for mullet on the float, but i did have other fish as well and lost some cracking fish.

my report is called test on this site if you want to read it.
