Good luck to you where ever you fish
In order to become "old & wise", you must first be young & stupid.

Let us know how you get on..

Tried Coatham Beach a couple of weeks back, couple of small flounder, that's all. Tried Saltburn beach and drew a blank. Been to the Heugh twice in the last three weeks and two good sessions, nothing take home but plenty of catches...

Ended up down Tommys rock Horden, was very windy cast out first cast and got 1 small flatty using runny down on a size 1 hook pulley rig, mate had a cracking bite on his rod reeled in and it looked like a big fish could hardly real in got to about 10 yards before the shore and his hook snapped. no fish on the beach after that. it was hard to see for bites because of the wind. bait used runny down, muscle and mackerel fished from 9.30 - till 1.

Sounds familiar, I was fishing for mini species and the rod took off, had to ask my mate to see what it was as I didnt think i was going to get it in, I managed to land a 4lb sea trout and then the line snapped it was close though,
