i went to the factory and expressed my disguest at the rod snapping without another mark on it... basically. Also tried to pressure them to find me a srx somewhere but had to settle for the platinum
think it was the most expensive rod though braught out and ever have done if i remember rightly

        Greys Rubbish

Hi. Sorry to hear about your rod!

We hear about this too much with these cheap imported rods from Korea. I would honestly recommend you stay away from these cheap imports (Which aren't even that cheap for foreign tat!) The main culprits being Greys and Sonic, they buy cheap rods from the far east and expect breakages; hence the lifetime warranty! Might seem like a good idea, but at £50 a section the company are still making money ON A FULL ROD!!!! Don't get me wrong, the odd person will buy a Greys or Sonic and find them half decent, but I think I speak for most when I say, spend your money on maybe even a second hand Century or Zziplex, which wont let you down!!

Looks like you have to register. Might still be worth ringing and finding out how much a replacement top section of the rod will be.
          Mick.
It says the ULG doesn't cover ordinary wear and tear. That's a bit of a grey area isn't it.

certainly poses the question what does the ulg cover the rod going rusty perhaps
