As Carl said, sorry no 'shellfish', shellfish is a culinary turn muscles are molluscs not fish. Nice going though brave spinning being close enough to the bottom to catch a muscle, I lost 5 spinners the other day trying to be brave lol

                            Blanker

Hopped around the rock edges and the breakwater at S/Sluice today (Mothers Day), threw plugs, poppers and jelly's around but nada doing, not even a single strike.

Had picked up a cheap little Fladden Eco 7' spin from Yorkshire Trading at Cramlington, think it was £7.99, throws 10grm-40grm which was far lighter than my other spinning rods. Proper little cheapy budget thing, but was canny enough with the lighter plugs and poppers.

rite then lads a better kick this lure challenge off

well was oot 7ish this mornin to a deep water mark
to be honest a wasnt expecting much but thought owt will be a head start

anyway not much happening tried several lure's, lost several lures so stuck a 5" senko worm on rigged weedless on a 7g jig head
and keeping it as low as poss in the water managed to catch this canny little pollack which put up a cracking fight on my light gear

nicley hooked in the mouth so easily released to fatten up abit for the next time

didnt measure it but was about 35-40cm
