    errr sorry to buzz kill...if artificial counts.....does this mean daylights and feathers count as well? ive had pollack on feathers...just wondering thats all....

                    unless your useing artificials under it... Had some success for mackerel float fishing feathers 12ft under, letting it drift out on a ebb tide +200 meters from shields peir.

                    i think from kayak/boat gives unfair advantage to reach places unaccessable seperate category maybes?

                              I'll be doing two light rods as the summer sets in from a few places, spinners/lures on one and a baited float on the other, I'll keep a note of what falls to each and where for my own notes anyway, so I'll log my lure/spinner catches and also note any baited float catches just for folks info.

                                well last year i had a codling, mackerel, coalie and a weaver on one set of daylights just bouncing them off the bottom from the end of the heugh, so i'm defo up for it
