        Century Or Greys Apollo MK3

Welcome to the site, I joined last July and the lads are more than willing to pass on some useful advice so any queries just get them posted. As for rods I don't think you can't go far wrong with Century, should be able to pick a 2nd hand one up for around £150.00 or I've also heard some great reviews on the Greys Apollo MK3, available from the Hardy factory shop for around £150.00 occasionally.

Just sent you a pm as I am thinking of selling my Greys GRX-I and Surfmaster 850 reel as I no longer use them - food for thought....

          Cheers

                  sonik

i use a sonik sk3 13' with a fixed spool reel and have had no bother at all from it. Cost 100-130 quid depends where ya get it from. Nice stiff rod but theres enough play in it for use on clean ground too. Good all round rod.

Some ads have a phone number to contact seller.

                      Sonik 4

                      I use a Sonik 4 14ft - use a penn surfmaster 850 or penn 525 Mag 2 - rod performs really well with either

                        Cheers for the replies guys

I have just ordered a brand new century CM £250ish

I asked specifically for f/s so have to wait 3 weeks for it to be built from scratch

1 of the lads let me try his centuries and was well impressed by the CM

Its going to be a looooong 3 weeks but I'm sure it'll be worth it,

                        Thanks again for suggestions Ross
