    anyone no any decent surf forcast website dont think magic seaweed is to good

    As far as I know magic sea weed is about the best, just remember the data is measured a long way off shore. Your best off using it as a tool to held you forecast the swell.

        Curtis it's all best guess at best - you're better off using XC weather to see what the wind/weather is doing or going to do, MSW for what they say the surf is doing and the Longsands webcam to see what it is actually doing...make your judgement based on that

        It's not really feesible to plan a week ahead based on what these sites so it's always best to make your final decision as close to the day you want to fish as possible

          Sunderland City Council : Roker Beach Webcam
          the webcam looking over roker beach and peir is the best but its got bird poo on it at the moment, lol

              Try logging on to ST VEDAS SURF SHOP. They have a web cam at Coldingham Bay. Look in the right hand column menu, and you'll see an option :Live Web Cam. Click on this and you get a live moving picture of the surf. OK I know it's about 70 miles North of Tynemouth, but it does give you an idea of what the sea conditions are like.
              I use it all the time and find it to be very reliable.

                Tony is reet curtis these site are not a 100% but they give ya a good idea of what it will like.

                If i plan a sesh i will look on these site and web cams a few hours before i leave and just before.
