Cheers for the tips

seen a few reports concerning Turbot over the last year, including Warkworth beach, but there seems to be very little on this site about Mullet except for some foreign holiday experiences. I reckon they would be a real sporty fish on light tackle

I can honestly say that until reading this thread I've never seen or even heard of any mullet being caught around here. I've always associated them with the south. Can anyone tell me if their any good to eat?

sewerage outlets are good places to try for them.the 1 at craster could be a good place to try for them

they are absolutely delicious, very meaty, on a par with mackerel.
