  • hows the tyne fishing

last year i had a good session next to the copthorne, i am out again for the first time in a while sunday morning and was thinking of trying there again. cus the fishing hasnt been great off the shore i had the belief that it wouldnt be great in the river, i dont know how true this is?

has anyone fished near there recently, how did it fish.

my other thought was into the small bay off the walkway before the north peir, it looks like a place where you might catch a few flatties coming in with the tide......but im no expert.

does anyone have any advice on which might be a better bet

    thanks

Hi m8. I've fished the river a few times over the last couple of weeks. Ive been fishing at jarrow and hebburn All I've had have been tiny whiting and coalies I've never had a flattie whet. I think the best place would be the first gate on the pier. Might stand a better of catching out.
