i know there are some idiots out there but it is a small minority.
that small minority must all come up the wear during the summer as there is loads of the so and so,s up and down and spinning around in front of you , have fun where it is safe and away from anglers if possible.

They do it in "Budle Bay"....doesn't that disturb the wild life....or are there other rules for them, i appreciate that it's not bait digging but hey!

        jetski prang

was not long ago when someone lost a expensive set up when a jet skier dragged his gear off the pier and did a runner. Sounds exactly the same thing just a different outcome. SPEED LIMIT on the tyne 6mph

aparently the lad broke his leg, apart from that, when I worked on Tynemouth Beach as a life guard, many, many, moons ago there was a byelwa prohibiting motorised craft within 400yards of the shore, as far as i know this byelaw has never been changed, and there is a speed limit in the rivers.

Who has the authority to police water activities in the estuary, power of arrest etc?

Nothing against people having fun & using them responsibly; surely the open shore would be a better choice.

I wonder if there is such a thing as "mackerel toe"?

...if that needs explaining it doesn't matter

50mph in the river, is there not a limit for them like all boats..ouch is all i can say.

I remember seeing a couple of close ones with a jet ski being hit with a lead and one being ripped off his seat by some line..both got back on and kept away from the macky bashers after that.

Lucky lad it never took his head off.

There's a stocky fellow who likes to show off down the middens from time to time at high water. Thinks he's great coming within 60yards of Loyds Jetty then along the beach.

You can Imagine peoples reaction when fishing there.
