Popped into Anglers United in Lynemouth on Monday for the first time to get a tip eye done and was chuffed to see its being run by Gary who worked at Mcdermotts in Ashington. He was always very helpful when I went there.

Its a canny shop with good prices, great bait and spot on service. I shall be using that shop from now on.

Its Located where the old post office was, in what used to be the petrol station on the corner.


Just thought I'd let anyone thinking about going know what its like, and no I'm not on commission lol

Your not wrong there matey. I also went in for a reel seat, but he didn't have one the right size in stock, so he disappeared out the back and took one of one of his own rods and sold me it cheap. If he hadn't, I wouldn't of been able to fish that day, so was well chuffed. Top bloke!! just like your kind self

Been in myself,great lad,good prices,good bait-not like some shops where regulars get bigger for same price,most of all good crack,would recommend to anyone,on my way there at lunch time

gary has top bait- big rag, yellows, black slaps ect even had big fresh live razor last week.
owt he has'nt got he will get 4 ya, i've had good talks with him on marks when he used 2 cover 4 lads at sport & leisure full of info that he will share. nothing he dose'nt know about reels 2.
