    anybody know if the angler who went in off Amble pier is alright

              fishing for luckys

              well what can l say jumping in to the north sea of amble 20mins in water bloody cold when my rod went in that was the last thing on my mind jumping in even though im a strong swimmer not wourth it hope he is ok l bet he feels a rite plonker now looking back

                  If we can safely presume his friends were fishing also! WHY didn't they use there rods casting over the one in the drink in the hope of getting it. Seen this done to great effect and much safer.
                  If there was a fish on whats the betting it was a clown fish.

                            I'd like to know more detail about this and exactly how it happened. Can't believe the guy did a belly flop into the sea but if he did it is unbelievable. The news attachment posted earlier said he dived in but is that what really happened? I wonder.
