curtis it used to fish during the day, not sure now though, just because of the lack of fish. Go on a few times during daylight to get the hang of the place and make sure you come off with plenty time.

dont fish it on a north easterly with any sea running as the water comes over the top as it is flat . fish with a mate and daytime first you have to climb about to find best way on .alan

you can get the odd red codling in the summer off the hill, always worth a visit and to waste a few crab

Don't know why you say, waste some crab. Its produced some good summer bags of fish over the years, aaand a pleasant place to fish, front or back especially on a big tide.

had some nice summer cod there on ragworm when the water is gin clear, just lobbing from the front towards the weed beds with your hook on a short trace to keep it off the bottom. You would be surprised as to how deep it is off the front.

South Crab Hill not dodgy - easy to fish comfortably for 4 hours (2 hours either side of low) on the right size tides...and you don't have to get wet any further than knee level - waders reccomended
