  • Cullercoats area tonight!

    Gentleman,

I'm now in to the last few sessions from the shore and potentially a boat trip (weather dependant) on Friday due to work committments.
I had a bit of a recce in the area of North Crab Hill last night, including the rock marks that make up the Northern end of Cullercoats Harbour.
The Hill was awash but the other marks were definitely fishable.

I am heading down to The Screws, just to the South of The Hill. With the SE winds and the wave direction from ESE the conditions should be favourable for hopefully a fish or two from the area around Marconi Point (please God)!

This area gives me the option of a few shots with the final fall back position being Cullercoats Harbour itself (if the conditions and fishing dictate).

If anyone wants to join me tonight, as I am alone (no funnies lol) I would appreciate the banter! Kieth is unfortunately preoccupied with work! Drop me a PM and I'll give you a bell.
I'm looking at getting to Cullercoats for approximately 1730hrs to fish 2 down and over! There is always the option of fishing elsewhere for the flood too!

    Tight lines lad's!
    Wayne.

Let us know how you got on Wayne. Conditions have looked great the past couple of days. I fished the lower Tyne on Sunday and never had a touch. May have a run up North this weekend to try and break my fishless run.
