Reelsport, Hebburn is always my prefered choice, good lads there and brilliant crack. The lass knows if I'm off to the bait shop I won't just be 5 minutes lol.

South shields shops decent too like, Terrys always a good crack... and in regards to knowing where the fish are; Terry ALWAYS knows where the fish are, or at least seems too lol
Species: Cod, Bass, Coalie, Flounder, Dab, Rockling, Mackerel, Plaice, Pollock, Ballen Wrasse, L/S Scorpion, Common Blenny, Weaver (unfortunately), Whiting, Common Eel, Trout, Pike... think that's it

The shop next to b&q called trading post and really good shop. bloke always friendly and worm spot on. even though i am not a regular as cant get out much these days still happy to give advice on marks and bait. plus you always get a good number of worm not just a few scraggy pre wrapped and half dead.

I'm talking over 20 years ago here but that fishin shop up in Berwick used to be terrible for bait in my opinion, I remember getting rag there, like I say over 20 years ago, and when I opened the box I just wanted to hoy up, It was f****n hangin. Not half dead mate but proper real dead.
