no good for rough ground there more of a clean ground reel and a little bit of mixed. a saltist 20h or 30h will be better for the rough stuff

Clean-slightly mixed only, rough ground is just not an option mate

Amazing reels with fantastic build quality, I always use mine if the ground suits

magnets only come into play at high revs so lobbing baits out a no go with this reel more suited to distance casting with baits.
did you know panel pins comes in diff sizes ?

Just buy a 525 mag, casts well and handles rough ground. Only 10 -15 yds behind a 7ht mag if distance is a priority

For distance purposes, how do you rate the 7ht turbo versus the 7ht mag? Just asking as I use the turbo but am thinking about getting a mag.

a well set up 7ht turbo should be just as good, i had my 7ht turbo with 2 of the smallest abu brake blocks in and oiled with yellow rocket fuel it used to cast a dream, but if there was a strong wind in my face i think i would of struggled unless i tightend the spool tension abit. some lads use the 7ht turbo with a mag conversion christian brayley has cast his over 300 yard i think.
