    Following on from before.

Ive looked at Phill's maps etc, but I'm curious about a couple of places.

Mainly black middens / prior stones area

Its a nice sized beach when high tide, but does anyone fish there? is there anywhere else from the pier to the fish quay worth trying?

    cheers guys.

fish the fish quay wall at high tide during spring and summer for flounder and plaice and along the promenade for mainly flounder.

Is the fish quay wall that place off the car park where the tower thing was demolished a couple of years ago or am I a mile away?

The little beach can fish high or low between loyds jetty and the lifeboat can fish for flounders high or low casting before the boats. Its snaggy if I recall.

Casting past the boats you will hook codlings etc in the main channel, however there is a rope that runs across and its virtually impossible to get your gear back.

Theres plenty of flounders short chuking on the boulders (infront of the car park) in the summer at high water like whats been said. Never fished for plaice off the prom even though I live 2mins away. Must try this summer and take my cod goggles off!
