  • Hand warmers

Just back from Aldi [ don\'t tell anyone though ] and I got some hand warmers for a couple of quid. They\'re great ,really hot and re-useable up to 1000 times so the packaging says ,only down side is they stay hot for an hour then you got to put them in boiling water for 10 minutes to de-activate the crystals ready for re-use ,although an hour is better than nowt if you got no hand warmers at all eh.
PS you can always put them in a Marks and Spencer carrier bag when you leave the shop lol

They have got to be better than the fuel stick ones, I bought 2 of em for a fiver each , but I cannot get them to stay lit, no sooner put them in me pocket and they go cold .
Am I doing summat wrong? or are they just as sh*te as I think they r?
And no I didnt get em from Aldi or Netto

the best way to keep them a light is to light them on the cooker at both ends
            light about 10 mm
they seem to keep alight then
            i gave mine away tho

i got the ones you boil

            not from netto or aldi

tala look at the holes at each end ot the handwarmers, little rectangular gaps where the two sides of the box thingy meets. take a knife to the material at the edge of them to get a decent gap to let the air in+ dont put your handwarmes in the little red bag thingys they come with.what i do is light them half an hour before i leave the house then put them in my suit pocket, check them 10 mins later to make sure theyr on. hope this helps....

Wor lass got me something similar couple of seasons ago. Used them for a few weeks but don\'t seem to warm up the whole hand. I just stick to me trusty testes now. Warmest place to put them, only trouble is me lass won\'t have nowt to do with me after. Funny that can\'t understand why?

Tala, where do you keep them? Theyre charcoal, so they will suck up ANY moisture around them I keep mine on a radiator the 12 hrs before I use them and they light well and stay lit mate.
