Cracking beach in the right conditions - had my best sessions there the last couple of years.

As already said, come down onto the south end of the prom. It fishes anywhere between the skeers on the south side up to a good hundred of metres along. I like it just to the right of where the beach shallows out, about 100 yards or so left of the ramp down onto the prom.

I've caught fish close in and blasted out there - best I've had have been on blueys late in the season but so far this season on crab and worm cocktails. Sea needs to be running though and you can get some problems with weed. Its the only place I've had to cut line as I couldn't move the weed monster.

Ended up not going last night so just been this evening for a few hours....started near to the rocks opposite the steps and lost 2 rigs after each other with the weed!

Moved up the beach a bit and was clearer and didn't lose any more gear. Just got a little flattie and returned it but was great to be back fishing again. Was a canny few lads out and don't think they had anything either, apart from another undersized flattie.

Ran out of bait or I would have still been there now. Forgot how much I've missed it!

Cheers for all the advice, I'll definitely be back there again.

Wow this is one of the reasons I have been a member of here for years but don't post very often, a few tools on here giving smarmy replies to lads asking for help...one thing that I do notice is the lads that are top rods and do catch regularly normaly dish out plenty advice...should we all not be trying to help each other to catch fish and have fun?

What i have noticed is more and more marks are getting spoilt and littered by people who are report chasing through different sites, is it a coincidence? Nope and the top rods that got on here do know there marks very well no shadow of a doubt but i bet they didn't get to know then by coming on nesa and asking for a mark to fish at a certain time what rig what bait, put the time and effort in stop being lazy fishermen

How's it lazy to ask few questions ? Everyone can do with a hand from time to time, yourself included no doubt about it ! There's absolutely no point in a forum with the attitude some people adopt on them.

How is it not being lazy getting put on a mark?? All the **** you normally come out with about not everyone has loads of time is bollocks, anyone can make time. you get out what you put in simple. Not saying helping is a bad thing but howay people come on" i am looking to to fish today from 1-1.07 looking for a rough ground mark that easy to fish" p.s "what rig should i use?what bait should i use? How far and in what direction do i cast?" and thats not being lazy?
