Well,me and me pal had a look up from 1-30-5-30 today and from past experience this is a proper low water mark.
As expected the first couple of hours were quiet(deathly quiet to be honest)but once you get to the last hour of the ebb the place comes alive.
Plenty flounders in the last 2 hours and some big cod type bites which didn't connect,possibly because we were rigged for flatties(size 1 short shank flappers).Anyway we ended up with Flounder to @ 40cm in a mad 2 hrs around low water
Good tip here for match fishers,you only need to cast to the last breaker,in todays sea about 40/50 yards and its a bite a cast!A good spot for flatties which never seems too busy,we were the only anglers on the beach today.Which is nice
