    penn

The frames alot smaller and compact, theres not lodsa differnce,

Id trade your current one in for it and start with 25-30 pound line to get used to casting it.

Get one, you won't be disappointed. The new mag system works a treat and is more controllable than the older type of the supermag.

25lb or 30lb is far to heavy for this size reel, prefers lighter line. Just leave the mag on full if you have a problem with casting it, no line lift whatsoever.

I was a bit sceptical about the manufacturing moving to china but can't see anything wrong thus far with the build......majority of stuff nowadays is made in China.

id have to disagree that 25lb-30lb line is to heavy. why is it?

ive got 50lb shocker & 25lb ultima F1, mag set to two...watch the reel empty!!

25lb F1 is low diameter line equivalent to 20lb normal.

                  Mag 525 Mk2 + line.

Hawthorn is spot on - used mine with 26lb line then dropped to Diawa sensor 18lb with 60 lb shockleader - works a treat. Paired with a Sonik 4 14ft - really happy a settled with performance of both
