          Looks like a case of "close but no cigar" for the lads predictions! The low stays to our West and doesn't make it North. We are going to get some strongish winds, but they will be South Westerlies and not the storm force North Westerlies he predicted.

                            just heard from mate on oil rig in the north sea he saying there are 50 foot waves and wind speed measured at 100 mph?
                            target of 10 codling this season and gonna try for a pig!!!!1

                              Met Office warnings issued for strong winds. All in all I don't think the lad was too far away from getting it right. Just the position and the depth of the low pressure was out a bit. Not bad for a month ahead!
