Any of the above, or possibly a Nitra, I'm sure I saw someone post that there was one in the shop for £99 - bargain.

My Platinum has been dropped, kicked, rived about and kicked some more - still hasn't snapped
...just demonstrating the other side of the coin so that you can make an informed choice
Got mates with Greys rods who have also never had a problem...
Failing that you could always pay a humungous amount of money for an "unbreakable" rod...just for info one of our club lads had the tip go on his brand new Conoflex...as far as I'm aware he's still waiting for a response/cost to repair...Ooh a new vid!

never tried a nitra but thats what id go for, seen tham and they look canny rods and will handle the rough stuff iv heard. they do snap alot but its a chance u have to take, iv not snapped a rod yet and wouldnt expect to snap 1. i not get the apollo mark 2 its like holding a bag of bricks. get the nitra or save abit more coin and get a century or zippy some canny used rods about aswell probly better off looking for a used century

ive got the apollo mk2 and the platinum xs and i cant fault them, they've both been used and abused, especially the apollo which has took some stick on the rock marks. i love the greys rods that much i'm getting the mk3 apollo as soon as i can.
