At the risk of sounding like young Mr. Mason.........anybody seen the long range weather forecast for over the Christmas period?

Hoping to get out on at least a couple of nights during the holidays...just hope that the sea conditions are gonna improve.

Not sure about the long range forecast Tony and Jim, but hopefully there\'ll be a bit sea on. Down my neck of the woods there is always a good few opens on, so here\'s hoping. There is nowt worse than a poor weigh in full of flatties and the odd scabby whiting, still the sarnies and chocolate are sometimes a good compensation.

another goddam white christmas I suppose! I\'m now at home till the new year and knowing my luck, when it looks like it\'ll be worth fishing I won\'t be able to get the car out or the road out of the village will be closed

Yes mate it got a wee bit white over here tonight too.
Was bloody slippy walking home as I only had a pair of leather shoes on.
Went over to Stanley yesterday and bought a pair of German Para boots for the rocks. They look the bizz mate cheers.

isnt it allways cold up in stanly willie ????? when i had to work up there in the summer used to wear 2 jumpers to keep out the cold in the winter time we just refused to go lol,,wasnt nice putting car windscreens in outside, up there if they didnt have a garage we didnt go lol

now your talking. Had mine 12 years now, couple of coats of dubbin every year and thats it. The warmest, comfiest and most waterproof boots I\'ve ever owned. I\'ve stood ankle deep in water for ages and they aint leaked.

Didn\'t help em win the war tho!

Is it true Italian army boots are made by Nike.....
