  • session down the tyne at the scrooner

hi all , new to this website but had a look around and looks a canny site. last saturday there was, me, my uncle and 2 mates went down the tyne just near gateshead stadium approx quarter of a mile from the scrooner pub, we were all using rag worms but had other baits just we never used them, i caught 1 well under sized cod , my uncle got 4 flattys and 1 mate got 4 flattys and the other got crabs (lol) , today ( thursday 13th jan ) we are off back to the same place or possibly the paint works. to do some more fishing so wish us luck and if we get anything i will make a new thread possibly with photos if i can find camera lead . and that was that!

any body els ever fished at the scrooner or the paint works ? any feedback please.
