Whitley Beach 7/1/11

Got down whitey beach today started about 10.30 with the intention of fishing the boat house, got there and sea was like a mill pond, so i headed down just beyond the 2nd cafe by briardene outlet, not a bad sea running things were looking up. Any way took 2 flounder, 1 plaice all of size the about 3pm moved down slighty 20 yards or so and got a small codling, Thanks to the chap who pointed the mark turned sea started geting a little ruff and throwing alot of kelp up, must of had about 3 stone over 5 casts or so decided to knock it on th head at 5. not a good day but better than Blanking 2nd time out with new rod/reel and caught both times happy days !
P.s all fish took on rag and blacks (frozen) took razor's/bluey's/macky/mussel/squid/ an not a sniff with them
