Lmao Davey. Just got back Tony and have seen better seas than that lol. Never mind the wind has to drop off so should be more comfy later.

                Jim.

According to Metcheck, the winds gonna drop off and change direction from SW to W, but it\'ll bring the rain and thats forecast to get heavy by 9pm.

I\'m hoping that by posting this it\'ll not happen, I\'d rather be proved wrong and stay dry than be a wet clever sh*t!

Well we had a canny night. Not too many fish caught but all four of us did catch. The eventual winner, Ian. Well done mate.
Still reckon you should have made him walk home Tony lol.
Nice to see you two again and nice to meet RobAdair, someone else to be able to put a face to.
Awful weather like never stopped raining till we started walking back to the car. Oh how we laughed.
Will try to sort a bigger one for the end of Feb or beginning of March.

                        Jim.

Oh, it was a fishing comp as well? And I thought NESA stood for Northeast Extreme Sports Association lol.

To say the weather was cack would be an understatement, but the NESA \"Pepsi Max - Take it to the Max\" team handled coffee pouring and tab lighting with ease. Maybe abseiling down to Marsden Bay might be an idea for the next comp Jim lol.

Seriously though, it was great to meet up with you lads again (and have time for a bit crack this time), and well done to the Ian, who risked his lift home (and almost certain death being dragged behind the car) to win.

The winner was decided by the total length of fish caught, which allowed catch and release and it worked fine, although there was only 4 of us. Still, it gives me a warm glow to know that the fish will live to make it to the more needy folk at the Rathouse

Really enjoyable night, just a shame that more weren\'t able to come down to join in.
Glad I managed (eventually) to break my duck and not have a blank session.......took a while mind.....started fishin\' at 8:00 and had to wait \'til 12:10 before I got one......lol.
Had been putting out some lovelly big runny, mussel & squid cocktail baits......well I thought they looked nice.....the fish, it would seem, had other ideas.....not a thing on them. Put a small strip of macky on a 3/0 hook.....got a fish.......lol

Mind you, the other 3 \"competitors\" didn\'t seem to be having any bother getting the fish.......lol....2 on the same hook in Jims\' case.

As Rob says, it was nice to be able to have a bit natter aswell this time and not just a quick \"hello\".

As for that jammy toe rag of a son........When you guys left the car park, I turfed him out the car and made him walk home
