Targets for 2011

with the start of the new year upon us what is everyones targets angling wise for 2011.
I'll start off with mine

• Catch a codling over 4lb from the shore
• catch a 20lb + carp
• Learn to pendulum cast
• Catch a ling

1, catch a double figure cod from shore
2, catch a double figure bass from shore
3, catch a double figure pollock from shore
(been close with all 3)
4, join a surf casting club and see what i can actually hit
5, catch something ive never caught before from shore

that will do for now

catch a fish over 25lb, had 3 fish over 23lb (pike 23lb12oz, pike 24lb and guitar shark 24lb10oz) but never broke the 25lb barrier.

i will settel for one cod over 10lb had them up to 9lb still trying after 30 years fishing

not to blank more than 5 times

My targets 2011:

-catch a thornback ray
-catch a bigger bass than my last one from the shore
-catch a codling of 5lb or more
-do more fishing, (didnt do as much as usual last year.)
-catch some different species

Sea:

1. Catch more bass than this year (5+)
2. Catch a 5lb Bass
3. Catch a Cod!!
4. Catch a new sea species

Freshwater:

1. Catch a Barbel
2. Catch a 4lb+ Chub
3. Catch a River Roach of 1lb 8oz +
4. Catch a 10lb+ River Pike


I'll be out tomorrow morning trying for the Barbel!

targets for me is jus 2 get out as much as i can and wat ever i catch is a bonus

Freshwater:
1. Wild Brownie over 2lbs.
2. Rainbow on the fly over 5lbs.
3. Sea trout over 5lbs.

Sea.
1. Wrasse over 4lbs.
2. Cod from shore over 4lbs.
3. Coalie over 2 1/2 lbs.
4. Lobster on a hand line.
5. Bass over 5lbs.

Both - try to catch no more bloody eels!

also try not to let the bairn out fish me again!!

2nd.A half decent cod any size will do at the minute
3rd.A cook book for wour lass on how to cook cod!!!
4th.Body Armour cause if she reads 3 she might go for me!!!
