  • Lynemouth Session 30/12/2010

Fished Lynemouth yesterday. Fished tide down and back up. Wasn’t sure where to fish so asked in the tackle shop. The lads in there pointed us in the right direction and were really helpful. Unfortunately we screwed the parking up and ended up on the north end on possibly Bog Hall Rocks down the steps on the rocks face?

Any way we had 3 codling (1.5 to 2lb) and 2 rock ling between 4 rods. Codling (2) were caught on rag, the other on rag, lug and razor cocktail. All fish came on the flood.

Was nice to see a few fish and made the trip worthwhile. I also christened my new rod so was happy.

We fished the North Skeer about half way down and cast towards the power station
