Alreet lads anyone know of best airline to Norway looking to fly to Tromso as going to Skjervoy not going till next year but looking for best way to go Anglers world have told us we should fly from Gatwick is this the right way to go any advice please
Dave
Been three times now. Always fly KLM to Amsterdam then flight to Trondheim. Put bags in at Newcastle and you don't see them till Norway. Never had any problems. Usually pay around £170 for the four flights plus extra baggage etc

Sometimes you don't see your luggage for a few days with KLM more so in the summer months when Amsterdam is very busy but I'm sure it's from Manchester or Edinburgh is the route you need to take for skjervoy not 100% though might be best posting in the boat section
pm 'Drifter' on here. Tony goes at least a couple of times a year, mainly to Sandland but i think its the same flights.
Normally fly from Edinburgh or manchester to Oslo, to Tromso
I use KLM a lot for business. The trick is to make sure there is at least an hour and a half between connecting flights at Schippol and then to insist they check your bags are on board the onward flight half an hour before boarding.
First time we went we had to pull a case off the chute at check in at Gatwick because the baggage label said frankfurt instead of Trondheim.
Then black rats rod tube got smashed en route.
Then me and Mick Dunns rod tube didn't come back to Newcastle with us but turned up in a taxi the next day via god knows where.
Finally the last time we went some clown took my case from the carousel in Trondheim by mistake. It eventually turned up dumped in the car park of our digs about 8 hours after we arrived. Luckily everything was still in the case!
Which airline was that with ?? We have flown with norwegian for the last 5 years and have never had one problem probably most efficient airline I've flown with

It was Norwegian who almost sent the cases to frankfurt, the rest were KLM.
