  • Boggle Hole Advice

Hi, I've just seen Boogle Hole near Robin Hoods Bay at low water and it looks like a great mark. Can anyone offer any advice in terms of tactics for planning a session - night/day, flood/ebb at this time of year? Much appreciated. Stew

Been to Robin Hood bay loads if times on family holidays, but only got into Sea fishing in the last two years or so.

Only advice I can give you is to look on Whitby Sea Anglers as RHB is perhaps a little too south for NESA people - could be wrong though as people think nothing of going to Eyemouth etc.

I've got a few days in Runswick Bay towards the end of October. I caught a few mackerel a couple of years ago but this time I'll be taking my proper sea gear and having a go for the coddies

      Good luck!

its a long walk down coz ya park at the top of the hill....and be careful where you park....the woman in the house at the top is a bit crazy....try fishing low tide up for a couple of hours and cast parallel to beach along in the gullys...just move back as the tide comes in and be careful not to get cut off...as it floods behind you and along a gulley... crab early season also worm and mussel also does the trick...
          good luck
