Penn 525 mag2

Any one used the new Penn 525 mag 2. apart from cosmetic differences, how do they compare to the mag extras and super mags.. Have heard that the gearing is not as tough and are loud when casting. would like to hear people opinions who have use both old and new

Santa is dropping me one off tonight hopefully, should have been an M4 Evo with it too but the t**ts at ****y-link parcels are still playing see-saw with it.....they must be bored by now though they've had it since the 8th of December!

Anyway, I've read mixed reviews and, lots of them on the net. I'll let you know how I get on with it.

Had a few casts with mine today and is sweet as a nut. New breaking system is more controllable and feels just as solid as my old super mag.

Can't see anything wrong with it so far. Had to clean the excess of blue grease out and gave it an oil with rocket fuel.

ive got 1 m8 i think they are great they are quiet when casting and once you clean the greese out of them they cast a lot better ( better distance) exellent handle for good grip for wrenching the cod in ive fished piers with mine and reels fish in with ease so overall they are great and would say they seem to be better than the other mags ( super mag mag extra ) as i have got both
