Just a heads up for anyone living near the coast at Blyth.
I just saw and reported a flares i could see from my house.
It seems there is an practise exercise going on by the lifeguard at Blyth and that was most likely where the flares are coming from.
I called 999 for the coastguard and that is what they reported.
There flares are white though so if any other colour goes up do report that
